Sista kastet är nog gjort för den här fiskesäsongen. Vi räknade igenom lite snabbt i bilen hem, ca 400mil genom Sverige och Norge för att jaga studen man får när man känner att det blir tungt i spöt, helt plötsligt och utan att man vet hur, höjer man spöt och känner knyckarna, tyngden och linan fräser av rullen, den känslan. Ren ångest. Nej inte riktigt men nästan. Man vill inte att det ska sluta, tills att man får tag runt stjärtspolen. Antingen släpper man ut fisken igen, eller tar upp den, båda ger lika bra känsla fast på olika sätt.
